Now that it most certainly is autumn, and I've had several glasses and bottles of Pumking this year, I can give it a pretty thorough review- at least by my standards. In previous years, what I've found most enjoyable about this beer is the pumpkin pie flavor, along with a little creaminess, and an almost buttery quality which reminded me of good pie crust. Sometimes pumpkin beers get awfully heavy handed with the spice bag and the whole thing ends up tasting like what I assume potpourri would taste like.
